"We just wanted to thank American Family Insurance for the outstanding processing on our recent claim. January of 2008 our house sustained damage from a tornado. The claims adjuster was friendly and walked us through the necessary steps to getting insurance money to restore our home as soon as possible. The check arrived quickly and we were able to get started on repairing the home. When all of a sudden you loose things you have , it is a comfort to know your insurance company provides a comfortable process that makes you feel better. "Our 20 year old son, Andy, passed away unexpectedly, September 5. The next day, a sudden wind storm dropped our new neighbor's tree on top of our son's car, my sister-in law's car, and our basketball goal. While I think it could be questioned whether there was any liability, nevertheless, American Family did all they could to remedy the situation and ease our burden. Scott Barnum, your claims adjuster from Colby, KS., was most kind and considerate. He made every effort to take care of the storm damage while we were weathering a storm of a different kind. If you know Scott, I am sure you would agree that you could find no better person for the job that he does. We have been very pleased having insurance with American Family for many years, (through Rhonda Knudson, in Great Bend, KS.), and look forward to being your customer for many more years. "On June 26 of this year we had a terrible storm move through our area with high winds and large hail. We had considerable damage to our home. I called my agent, Jennifer klausen and she immediately took my information and had a appraisal team at my property just a short time later. Jennifer even called me a few days later to check on our situation. I just wanted to send Kudos to Jennifer for her exceptional Customer Service skills and follow up. Randy with American Family in Ottawa has been the sponsor for the Little League team, the A's, for the last two years my son has played. Randy has come to most of the games and is always supportive to the parents and to the kids. On occasion he has treated the boys to pizza or ice cream at the local restaurants. "I only have great things to say about American Family Insurance. From the very first time I was in their office, I knew this company was different than the others. When I went in to Troy Ball’s office in Nampa, Idaho, they made me feel important. Then, before I left the office I was given a comment card that asked me to rate their service and how they could improve. This showed me American Family genuinely cared about providing the best service at the best price. I have been with American Family Insurance for two years now and I can honestly say I plan on using this company for all my insurance needs for the rest of my life. I was going to start a business and had many questions and concerns. Troy took time to explain everything to me and help me find the insurance that was right for the company I was starting. Also throughout college I had many classes that required projects dealing in Insurance. Troy was always willing to meet with me to go over these hypothetical situations and even gave me real quotes I could use in my presentations. I think it shows how much this company cares when an agent is willing to spend time on something they know will make them no money. Finally, I am getting married soon and the site is requiring us to provide event insurance. I was very unfamiliar with what was needed and at first did not think it was going to work out. Rene took the time to contact the underwriter and solve the problem, helping my wedding go off without a hitch! "I would like to thank everyone at American Family for being there when I needed them, everyone from my Agent and his staff to the claims adjusters. I had a first floor washer hose bust a while back and water flooded my basement while I was at work. American Family was my first call. They had people at the house cleaning and drying things within a couple of hours after the break was discovered. This caused several thousand dollars in damages. They had things repaired I had not even thought of being damaged. Then, a few months later, they settled with the manufacturer of the hose and gave my deductible back! My boat was damaged on another occasion. Again, American Family was quick to respond and get me back to fishing faster than I could have imagined. On yet another occasion, I had major wind damage to my motor home.......yep, American Family was there to assist in getting the repairs made to get me camping again! It seems that 2006 and 2007 were bad years for my family and there were major inconveniences but American Family saw to it that our needs were met and our bank account was not drained. And they have not raised my rates because of that bad misfortune. Again....Thank you Rod Sampson and staff for taking care of my family."

What makes this story even better is that I have more coverage for less money. Cade is also very personable and takes extra time out to make sure my family and I are taken care of. "To whom it may concern: On February 19th I was in Wisconsin snowmobiling with a cousin. He stopped very quickly and I was not able to stop and ended up rear ending him. The accident caused cosmetic damage to the hood and belly pan of my sled. I called my representative Adam Roethler first thing Monday february 21st and notified him of the damage to my sled. I also dropped my sled off at the local dealership. A few minutes later a claim's rep contacted me and collected all the information needed to start the claims process. Shortly after that I was contacted by an adjuster who said they would be visiting the dealership the following day. The adjuster visited the dealership the next day, Feb 22, as she said, reviewed the estimates, and paid the claim. I am very impressed with the kind of service I received from American family from my rep Adam Roethler all the way to Chris who was the adjuster. I am in the service industry myself and am always surprised at the lack of service today in most service industries. Thank you very much and keep up the good work."
